Except for eating, you spend more time climbing during Ride the Rockies than anything else.  Here's a picture tour of the fun.  -joe
In addition to the four mountain passes indicated, there were several other significant climbs.  The 35 mile gradual climb to Leadville wears you down for the climbs of Tennessee Pass and Battle Mountain later in the day.  On day three there are no mountain passes but there are two steep climbs -- one of these was nearly ten miles long!  On the sixth and last day there were two shorter but significant climbs.
Day 1: Cottonwood Pass 12,126 ft.

Day 2: Tennessee Pass 10,424 ft.

Day 4: Rabbit Ears Pass 9,426 ft.

Day 5: Trail Ridge Road 12,183 ft.
